Job summary

Benetas is seeking Support Workers/Home Care Workers in the Metro North region to provide one-on-one in-home care to older Victorians, helping with daily tasks, meals, and community connections. You will travel between clients, sometimes up to four visits per day, and access training and growth opportunities.

Applicants should have a vehicle, valid license, and NDIS clearance or ability to obtain it, with First Aid and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
• Willingness to travel between clients (up to 4 per day, 10–30 minutes between)
• NDIS Clearance, First Aid and CPR Certificate or ability to obtain
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Role

We are looking for Support Workers / Home Care Workers to join our team in Metro North region. Our Care Workers in Community, Health and Care provide one-on-one care to help older Victorians live comfortably in their own homes, to stay connected and to feel supported.

• Assist clients with daily activities such as light cleaning and meal preparation assistance
• Work with clients one-on-one within their home to live their best lives and maintain relationships
• Assist clients to keep connected to their communities through activities they love
• Unescorted shopping with a list

About you

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
