Job summary

Benetas St Lawrence Court Kangaroo Flat in Kangaroo Flat, VIC, is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers for casual roles across AM, PM and Night Duty shifts at a home housing 50 residents.

PCWs deliver person-centred care, build rapport with residents, and work in a supportive, not-for-profit environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in IS or Aged Care, or equivalent.
• Experience working in an aged care environment.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and provide compassionate care.
• Able to work independently and in a team setting.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to residents in a residential aged care setting.
• Deliver care across AM, PM and Night Duty shifts with professionalism.
• Support residents' wellbeing and collaborate with the care team.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Personal Care Workers to join our Benetas St Lawrence Court Kangaroo Flat home, in Kangaroo Flat, home to 50 residents.

Our Personal Care Workers (PCWs) are dedicated to helping older Victorians live their best lives, by delivering person-centred care that can only come from truly knowing the individuals they are supporting. The role of a PCW is exciting and diverse in our residential aged care homes. Each day is unique and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to our residents. About you

• Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or Aged Care, or a related qualification, or completed the first year of nursing studies and placements
• Experience working in an aged care environment
• A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain
