Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking Personal Carer Workers to support elderly residents across all shifts at our Ashmore care home. You will work closely with nursing, hospitality and engagement teams to deliver compassionate, timely care while upholding safety standards.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and a willingness to cross-skill within our homes. Relevant qualifications and a current NDIS screening are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideally one year demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector.
• Qualification: Certificate III in IS (Aged Care) OR Diploma of Nursing with aged care placement OR 2nd year nursing student with placement.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain) is essential.
• Computer savvy including emails, word and navigating inhouse training platforms.

The Opportunity

Our Personal Carer Worker (PCWs) are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts. This role based at our Ashmore care home will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and accountabilities.

• Ideally one year demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector

• Excellent workplace safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears.
• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR
• have completed the Diploma of Nursing with an aged care placement OR
• now a 2nd year nursing student with a placement.
• we do recognise other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. Industry work placement will also be needed to meet compliance standards.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
