Job summary

Bolton Clarke in Sydney’s South West (Bass Hill) is seeking a Personal Care Worker to provide high-quality, resident-centred assistance, helping with daily living activities and wellbeing. You will join a supportive team with strong clinical and allied health backing, with opportunities to progress into nursing or leadership roles.

A Certificate III in Individual Support and Australian work rights are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent).
• Experience in Aged Care highly regarded.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and/or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, safe, and timely personal care; assist with daily living according to residents' needs.
• Support and care for residents as they age, helping maintain independence and dignity.
• Assist with self-care, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
• Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
• Ensure an effective and consumer-focused care and service delivery for all residents.

As aPersonal CareWorkeryou’llprovideassistancetoour residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence,interestsand choices.

The key focus of the role will be to:

• To provide high quality, safe, andtimelycontemporary personal care;assistingwith the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.

• Support and care for residents as they age andassistingthem tomaintaintheir independence and live with dignity,self-determinationand comfort.

• Assistthe resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.

• Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

To be successful, you will have

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent)
