Job summary

Newly By Healthcarelink Support is seeking a compassionate Care Worker to assist clients in their own homes across Chinderah NSW and surrounding areas. You will provide quality care, support daily living activities and help clients maintain independence in their communities.

The role requires English fluency, a valid Australian driver license and vehicle, strong communication, and current mandatory checks (NDIS, police, CPR, First Aid) to ensure safe, respectful care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle with third party property damage insurance.
• Strong communication, resilience and patience; proficient with smartphone apps and email.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and police check clearance.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in their homes with daily tasks and personal care.
• Assist with household chores, meal preparation, showering and dressing.
• Provide transportation to appointments and social activities.
• Build genuine connections to help clients live independently and safely.

  About the role

  As a Care Worker supporting clients in the Chinderah NSWand surrounding areas, you will be part providingquality care and support to clients in their own homes.

  You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

  What do we need from you?

  • You will be a fluent speaker in English and in addition to home services, be willing to provide weekly social support in a group community setting.
  • You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with Third Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients.
  • You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.
  • You will have aValid NDIS Worker Screening Check: A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required to ensure the candidate is eligible to work with individuals in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • You will have avalid police check clearance
