Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is hiring Personal Care Assistants for casual shifts at St James, Matraville, NSW. You will support residents with personal care, feeding, activities, and daily living in a home-like environment. The role requires a Certificate 3 in Aged Care and a commitment to safety and quality care.

We offer shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights, with not-for-profit benefits and opportunities to join a values-based organisation within a large NSW/QLD network.

Qualifications

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable team player who can work within a team.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent).
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities.
• Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed.
• Maintaining documentation and contributing to residents' health and wellbeing.
