Job summary

Palm Lake Group in Logan City is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. You will provide daily living support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

The role includes assisting residents with personal care and maintaining accurate care documentation while collaborating with the healthcare team. Ideal candidates will possess a Certificate III in Aged Care and a positive attitude towards elderly care.

Position Details

Palm Lake Care Mount Warren Park is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Casual basis. You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts a week and have work-life balance.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll provide daily living support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
• Support residents’ emotional and social needs
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
• A current National Police Check
• A caring and respectful approach towards residents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Empathy with elderly residents and their families
• Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential
• Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded
