Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is assisting a well-established residential builder and developer in NSW to recruit a Permits Officer. You will manage DA, CDC, CC and OC applications, coordinate planning approvals, and liaise with councils and certifiers to drive the approvals process from submission to final decision.

The role requires strong organisational skills and experience with the NSW Planning Portal. You will operate within a collaborative pre-construction team and enjoy opportunities for

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Permits Officer within residential construction.
  • Strong understanding of the NSW planning and approvals process.
  • Experience managing DA, CDC, CC and OC applications.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using the NSW Planning Portal is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and lodge DA, CDC, CC and OC applications.
  • Coordinate planning approvals and statutory documentation.
  • Liaise with councils, certifiers, consultants and service authorities.
  • Manage the approvals process from submission through to approval.
  • Monitor application timeframes and proactively follow up outstanding items.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with relevant legislation and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records within internal systems.
