Job summary

Aussie Locums is seeking a Pharmacist to join a locally owned Townsville pharmacy. You will work across two busy stores, dispensing and providing clinical services with mentoring support for early career pharmacists. The role offers flexibility in hours and relocation assistance to help you settle in.

You will engage in vaccinations, MedsChecks, sleep apnea support, and medicinal cannabis guidance while contributing to a strong, community-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA registration.
• Open to early career pharmacists with mentoring provided.
• Passion for patient care and community engagement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispense across two stores using Fred Plus, Workx and robotic systems.
• Deliver professional services including vaccinations, MedsChecks, DAAs, sleep apnea support and medicinal cannabis.
• Support a high-volume environment (up to 600 scripts per day) and contribute to team collaboration.
• Participate in community-focused care and cross-store operations.

About the Role

You will be working across both dispensary and clinical services, including:

• Dispensing using Fred Plus, Workx, and Robotic systems
• Supporting a high-volume environment (up to 600 scripts per day)
• Delivering professional services such as vaccinations, MedsChecks, DAAs, sleep apnoea support, and medicinal cannabis
• Contributing to a collaborative and community-focused team
