Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery Group is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join the Parts team at our Cavan branch on a permanent full-time basis. You will ensure efficient movement of parts, accurate stock control and excellent service to customers in a high-performing warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar warehouse or stores environment.
• Current forklift licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Well-developed computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• A strong customer focus and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Efficient picking and packing of parts orders.
• Receiving and dispatching parts and equipment.
• Loading and unloading freight safely and accurately.
• Conducting regular quality control checks and inventory audits.
• Providing high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
• Maintaining accurate computer records and managing stock levels.
• Liaising with freight providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
