Job summary

Hutcheon & Pearce is seeking a reliable Parts Warehouse Operator in Griffith to support technicians and keep stock accurate. This hands-on role involves receiving, storing, picking and distributing parts, with a focus on organisation and teamwork.

You'll work in a busy branch, promote safety, and contribute to continuous improvements in layout and processes while delivering high-quality service across the parts team.

Qualifications

• Current forklift licence and previous warehouse, stores or parts experience would be highly regarded.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
• Confidence using computers and data entry tasks.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to help the team.
• Reliability and ownership; stands by their word.
• Commitment to a safe, orderly workplace.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store incoming parts and stock.
• Pick and supply parts for technicians and internal departments.
• Assist with basic parts interpretation and identification.
• Process stock movements accurately within our systems.
• Identify and elevate shortages, discrepancies and back orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse.
• Assist with freight, deliveries and stock movements between branches.
• Support improvements to warehouse layout, storage and overall efficiency.
• Follow safe manual handling and warehouse practices.
