Job summary

Bupa Greenacre is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our modern care home in Sydney's southwest. This permanent part-time role (2 days/week) focuses on delivering high standards of property services, including repairs and preventative maintenance, to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

You will perform repairs across the building, grounds and equipment, support property projects, and uphold Work Health and Safety procedures while contributing to a welcoming, well-maintained

Qualifications

• Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works.
• Formal qualifications or training in property maintenance or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Ability to solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide repairs and maintenance support to the care home across a wide scope of activities including: identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in-line with the Maintenance Schedules.
• Ensure the physical environment for residents is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard free.
• Landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs and waste removal.
• Oversee, maintain, assess and provide recommendations on replacement of assets if and as required.
• Assist in the management of Property Services projects.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and Property Services Quality Assurance procedures.

Bupa Greenacre is a modern care home set in the southwest of Sydney. You’ll be close to the local community with neighbouring schools, parks and a shopping centre nearby. About The Role:As a Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

This is a permanent part-time position 2 days/week role

Duties

Skills and Experience
