Job summary

Bupa Greenacre is seeking a Permanent Part Time Maintenance Officer to deliver high-standard property services in a 138-bed care home in Greenacre, NSW. The role focuses on repairs, maintenance, and a safe environment for residents, with duties spanning building, grounds, and asset management.

The position is 2 days per week, offering opportunities for professional development and a supportive team, alongside Bupa's wellbeing and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications or relevant skills training.
• Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Ability to solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in-line with the Maintenance Schedules.
• Ensure the physical environment for residents is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard free.
• Landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs and waste removal.
• Oversee, maintain, assess and provide recommendations on replacement of assets if, and as required.
• Assist in the management of Property Services projects.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and Property Services Quality Assurance procedures.
