Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia Limited is seeking an experienced Engineering Tradesperson Mechanical Fitter for the Inkerman Mill in the Burdekin Region. This permanent day work position requires a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical / Fitting and Turning, with overtime and some weekend work.

The successful candidate will hold HRWL licenses (Dogging, Forklift, Overhead Crane), and have welding skills. Training can be provided to the right aptitude and team fit.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical or Fitting and Turning required.
• Dogging High Risk Work Licence (HRWL), Forklift HRWL and Overhead Crane Ticket are required or preferred.
• Welding skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fitting and turning tasks as required.
• Operate lifting equipment and overhead cranes as part of maintenance and fabrication work.
