North Metropolitan TAFE in Western Australia is establishing a 12-month appointment pool for General Education and Community Pathways teaching roles. The lecturer will plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students, mentor learners and stay current with industry knowledge through ongoing professional development.

We seek passionate educators with a learner-centred approach who value diversity and inclusive learning.

Formación

• An Australian or equivalent qualification that confirms your specialism in teaching Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Digital Literacy and/or Employability Skills.
• Have at least 5 years industry experience.
• Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAESS00011/TAESS00019/TAESS00024) or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set.
• Have relevant skills and experience to meet the selection criteria as outlined in the attached JDF.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in General Education and Community Pathways.
• Delivering and assessing training, mentoring students, and maintaining current industry knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Foster learner-centred teaching and inclusive learning environments that support student success.
