Job summary

North Metropolitan TAFE (NMTAFE) invites applications for a Lecturer in Building Design & Drafting to plan, deliver and assess training for students in this study area. You will mentor learners, support practical skill development and foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

You will maintain contemporary industry knowledge through ongoing professional development and strong connections with industry, ensuring training remains relevant, current and aligned to Western Australian

Qualifications

• Hold an Australian or equivalent qualification in Residential Drafting/Building Design.
• Have at least 5 years industry experience with knowledge of WA regs incl. NCC and R-Codes.
• Hold TAE40122/TAE40116/TAE40110 or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set.
• If not yet qualified, enroll in an approved training and assessment qualification within two years.
• Have relevant skills and experience as outlined in the JDF.
