Qualifications

• Certificate III in Pathology or equivalent required.
• Experience in pathology setting preferred.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication with colleagues and patients.
• Proficient data entry and attention to detail.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high-quality pathology service.
• Perform pre-analytical duties including pathology collections, receiving and triaging specimens, patient registration and request entry, specimen processing and preparation for transport or delivery to laboratories for timely accurate diagnostic testing.
• Support timely, accurate diagnostic testing and maintain data accuracy.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliant handling of sensitive information.
