Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking a passionate Permanent Educator to join our team in Southport. You will help design a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children, and lead daily activities before and after school while ensuring healthy snacks are provided.

You will work on a permanent contract with opportunities for professional development and a strong emphasis on child safety, wellbeing, and community partnership. Availability includes mornings and afternoons on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Childcare-related qualification or current study.
• Working with Children Check Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates or willingness to obtain.
• Availability 6:40 am–8:40 am and 2:50 pm–5:45 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Design a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children.
• Lead daily activities and supervise snacks in line with approvals.
• Engage with families and the local school community to support learning.

In this role, you’ll help design a safe, engaging, and compliant program, leading exciting daily activities to help primary-aged children. ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, a childcare-related Certificate Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 6:40 am-8:40 am & 2:50 pm - 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday.
