Camp Australia is seeking a Permanent Educator in Southport to deliver a safe, engaging program before and after school for primary-aged children. You’ll design activities, support learning, and help prepare healthy snacks while building strong connections with children and families.

The role offers permanent contract security, shift coverage across before/after school care, and opportunities for career growth including subsidised study pathways.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completion or ongoing study of a childcare-related certificate/diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).

Camp Australia is on the hunt for a passionate, Permanent Educator to join our team in SOUTHPORT! If you're excited about building meaningful connections with children, their families, and the local school community, we want YOU!

As an educator with us, you will get the job security of a permanent contract and you’ll be at the heart of all the fun and excitement—whether it’s before school, after school, or during school holidays. In this role, you’ll help design a safe, engaging, and compliant program, leading exciting daily activities to help primary-aged children. Plus, you’ll get to prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks to keep everyone energised to learn and grow.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, a childcare-related Certificate Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 6:40 am-8:40 am & 2:50 pm - 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday.
