Job summary

Camp Australia Pty Ltd in Parkhurst, QLD, Australia, is seeking a dedicated Permanent Educator to design safe, engaging programs for primary-aged children on a permanent contract. The role covers before and after school care and school holidays, with opportunities to lead activities and interact with families and the school community.

You will help prepare healthy snacks, ensure child safety, and contribute to a supportive, child-safe culture. Training and progression are supported.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Completed, studying, or willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 7:00 am-9:00 am & 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Design a safe, engaging, and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Lead exciting daily activities and build meaningful connections with children and families.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks to keep everyone energised to learn and grow.
• Collaborate with schools and the local community to support child safety and wellbeing.
