Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking a passionate Permanent Educator to join our team in West Rockhampton. You will help design safe, engaging programs for primary-aged children and support before/after school sessions and holidays.

You'll build strong relationships with children, families and the local school community while upholding our safeguarding culture. A Diploma or studying in childcare and valid checks are preferred; training and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare and strong relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to study or have a childcare-related Diploma.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design safe, engaging daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Lead before/after school activities and holiday programs.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks to energise learning.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and school communities.
