Job summary

Journey Early Learning Group in Lara, VIC, is hiring a Diploma Permanent Educator to support planning, implementing and evaluating our programs for children. This permanent part-time role spans five days, Monday to Friday, and focuses on developing meaningful relationships with children, families and the community.

You will foster children's learning, advance your own career in childcare, and work within a supportive team that values safeguarding and play-based experiences.

Qualifications

• ACECQA recognised Diploma or higher required.
• Experience leading age-specific programs and routines.
• Current Working with Children Check clearly up to date.
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates.

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Diploma Permanent Educator to join our team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for our children.

About the role

This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across 5 days, Monday to Friday.

As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children's learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times

• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences

About you

You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.
