Qualifications

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Support) from an accredited institution.
• Previous perioperative experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon and nursing staff with surgical procedures through provision, operation and maintenance of theatre equipment and the positioning / preparation of patients.
• Facilitate efficient perioperative processes and ensure the smooth operation and running of perioperative services.
• Ensure equipment and stock are available at all times for perioperative services staff.
