Job summary

Norwest Private Hospital in Sydney's North West is seeking a Theatre Orderly to support our perioperative teams and sustain a safe, efficient theatre environment. You will contribute to patient comfort and overall care in a fast-paced setting.

Role involves transferring patients, assisting with positioning, preparing theatres, and supporting nursing staff. Experience is welcome but not required; rotating AM/PM shifts apply. Join Healthscope’s extensive private hospital network in Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating AM/PM shifts (Mon-Fri).
• Current Working with Children Check & National Police Check (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Safely transferring patients to and from theatre.
• Assisting with patient positioning and manual handling.
• Preparing and setting up operating theatres.
• Maintaining a clean and safe theatre environment during procedures.
• Supporting nursing staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
