Norwest Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, is seeking a Theatre Orderly to support our perioperative team and enhance the patient experience. This role involves assisting with transfers, positioning, and theatre setup to ensure safe and efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Theatre Orderly (desired but not essential)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work rotating AM/PM shifts (Mon–Fri)
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Safely transferring patients to and from theatre
• Assisting with patient positioning and manual handling
• Preparing and setting up operating theatres
• Maintaining a clean and safe theatre environment during procedures
• Supporting nursing staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
