Maitland Private Hospital, the only private hospital in the region, invites applications for Perioperative Nurse roles in its Day Surgery Unit. The positions are PPT and casual, welcoming Registered and Enrolled Nurses with perioperative experience and a commitment to patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
• Minimum 12 months recent post graduate experience in a Day Surgery Unit and/or Perioperative Unit.
• Understanding of NSQHS and ability to apply to clinical care.
• Function independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet timeframes.
• Positive attitude and adaptable approach to problem solving and decision making.
• Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights.
• Immunisation evidence and serology report as per NSW Health.
• Familiarity with WebPAS and UKG (Kronos) highly regarded.
• Understanding of Private Hospital landscape.
