Qualifications

• Must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (genuine requirement).
• Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
• For AHPRA registered clinicians: relevant bachelor’s degree and current AHPRA registration.
• For non-AHPRA clinicians: relevant bachelor’s degree with appropriate membership (ACA, AASW).
• Current Criminal History Check.
• Current Working with Children’s Check (Qld Blue Card).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and support specialist early intervention, parenting and related services for families.
• Work with pregnant women, parents and caregivers to enhance relationships with their child/ren.
• Provide person-centred mental health case management to support and build on strengths, resilience, cultural connections, and support networks of individuals, families, and community.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support women and families impacted by trauma.
• Develop and support SEWB plans for women and families experiencing complex mental health and social emotional wellbeing challenges.
• Support continuity of care by linking to other supports and services.
