Job summary

IUIH Institute for Urban Indigenous Health in Queensland seeks a Mental Health Clinician – Perinatal and Parenting to develop and support specialist early intervention, parenting and related services for families.

You will work with pregnant women, parents and caregivers to enhance relationships, provide person-centred mental health case management, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support women and families impacted by trauma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree qualification with appropriate professional membership (ACA, AASW, etc.).
• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• Current Criminal History Check.
• Current Working with Children’s Check (Qld Blue Card).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and support specialist early intervention, parenting and related services for families.
• Provide person-centered mental health case management.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to support women and families affected by trauma.
• Develop and support SEWB plans for women and families with complex mental health needs.
• Ensure continuity of care and linkages to other services within the system.
