Performance Test Engineer (Microsoft Dynamics)

CloudMarc is partnering with a major enterprise client to engage a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with deep experience across Microsoft platforms. This role is hands‑on and requires strong capability in performance testing, analysis, and reporting within Dynamics 365, Microsoft .NET, and Power BI ecosystems.

This is a critical position within an agile delivery environment and will suit someone who can take ownership of the full performance testing lifecycle—from planning and scripting through to execution and recommendations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing performance test plans aligned to non‑functional requirements.
• Building workload models that reflect real‑user and system behaviour.
• Preparing and maintaining test scripts, scenarios, and test data.
• Executing performance tests using industry tools including LoadRunner Cloud, LoadRunner (on‑premise), and JMeter.
• Setting up and managing Virtual Machines (VMs) required for performance test execution.
• Analysing performance test results, establishing baselines, and preparing high‑quality test reports.
• Providing clear recommendations and insights to technical and business stakeholders.
• Maintaining all test artefacts related to performance testing.
• Actively contributing within an agile delivery team and participating in all agile ceremonies.

What We’re Looking For (Mandatory Skills)

• Performance testing experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft .NET, or Microsoft Power BI (MANDATORY).
• Proven experience developing performance test plans and workload models.
• Strong scripting, data preparation, and execution capability using recognised tools.
• Hands‑on experience with LoadRunner Cloud, LoadRunner On‑Premise, and JMeter.
• Experience conducting backend performance testing in a web context using LoadRunner Cloud, without a graphical interface.
• Ability to configure and manage VM environments for performance testing.
• Strong capability in interpreting performance results, producing baselines, and recommending improvements.
