Job summary

Emmanuel College – Gold Coast invites a driven Performance Swimming Coach to lead our State and National Squads, building on an established program and inspiring swimmers to reach their potential at our Carrara campus on the Gold Coast.

In this role you will design training plans, mentor athletes, foster a culture of performance and teamwork, ensure safety and well-being during sessions, and align with the College’s Christian values and community ethos.

Qualifications

• Must hold Swimming Australia Coach License with Advanced Endorsement or equivalent.
• Experience as a Performance Swimming Coach.
• Must have a current First Aid Certificate and Lifeguard Certificate.
• Must have current Working With Children Check (Blue Card).
• Demonstrate a high level of administrative and computer skills.
• Be confident working with children and young people.
• Create safe, positive and engaging learning experiences.
• Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to student progress and wellbeing.

With an extensive aquatics program with multi-layered swimming squads from Learn to Swim through to National Level swimmers, our Swim program provides skills in swimming technique, water confidence, survival, water safety and endurance.Centrally located in Carrara on the Gold Coast, with a warm, friendly and supportive team environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a centre with a fantastic reputation, strong community connection, and a positive workplace culture.

About the role:

We are seeking a driven, experienced and highly engaged Performance Coach to lead our State and National Swimming Squads. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated coach to build on the strength of an established program, inspire athletes to reach their potential and drive a culture of performance, development and team success.

About you:

• Have aSwimming Australia Coach License with Advanced Endorsement (orequivalent qualification)
