Job summary

TAFE NSW invites applications for a Senior Finance Analyst based in Sydney. You will analyse financial data, build models and provide insights to support strategic decisions that drive business outcomes in a large education system.

Qualifications

Salary package starting at $149,973 Package includes salary from $132,132 - $145,848 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for analysing financial data and risks, creating and supporting financial models, and providing insights to support strategic decision‑making to achieve business outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
• Strong knowledge of, and experience working with finance systems and complex financial dataset for the purposes of creating insights and recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience building driver‑based financial models, ideally including revenue or demand forecasting.
• Strong analytic skills with demonstrated experience translating insights into implementable recommendations, and ability to write concise, executive‑ready commentary that draws out what matters for decision makers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skill, with the ability to provide clear and concise information, and build trusted partnership to optimise business outcomes.
