Job summary

McArthur is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning within the aged care sector. The role focuses on leadership development and fostering a positive workplace culture across multiple facilities.

The successful candidate will partner with senior leaders, support organisational change, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory standards, including NDIS requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture Business Partner role.
• Experience in Aged Care or Health sector preferred.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders delivering practical, customer-focused advice.
• Guidance on employee relations, investigations, grievances and performance management.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and regulatory standards including NDIS and Aged Care requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to provide people-related advice and align strategies with organisational objectives.
• Advise on complex employee relations, investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution.
• Coach and support leaders to strengthen people management capability and foster positive cultures.
• Support organisational change initiatives and promote a values-aligned culture across the organisation.
• Collaborate with the P&C team to deliver talent management, succession planning, and employee experience initiatives.
• Ensure practices align with legislation, industrial instruments and HR policies.
