Legal Aid NSW is seeking a highly organised People & Culture Coordination Lead to support the Chief People Officer. You will manage executive workflows, governance timelines and papers, and coordinate cross‑functional workstreams.
This role demands sound judgement, discretion and the ability to keep complex work moving in a high‑volume environment. You will coordinate strategic projects, maintain calendars and reporting rhythms, and ensure milestones and risks are clearly tracked.
We stand beside people when they need it most.
At Legal Aid NSW, fairness isn't just a legal principle, it shapes everything we do - our culture, our services, our workplace and our decisions.
Since 1979, Legal Aid NSW has provided legal advice, support and representation in criminal, family and civil law, helping people across NSW navigate hardship and complex legal issues. Our work is challenging, but deeply meaningful.
In partnerships with LawAccess NSW, Community Legal Centres and the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT, we are located throughout the state including our Central Sydney office, 25 regional offices, and satellite and outreach offices.
This is an opportunity to work at the centre of People and Culture, helping the Chief People Officer and leadership team turn priorities into coordinated action.
As the People & Culture Coordination Lead, you will manage executive workflows, governance timelines, papers, meetings and divisional coordination. You will also support strategic People and Culture projects by bringing structure to plans, actions, risks, milestones and reporting, helping leaders make informed decisions and ensuring commitments are followed through.
Working across multiple teams and priorities, you will use sound judgement, discretion and strong organisation to keep complex work moving in a high-volume and changing environment.
You will also:
You are a highly organised and trusted professional who can operate confidently in a complex executive environment. You bring the discipline to manage sensitive information and governance deadlines, while building productive relationships across teams to achieve timely outcomes without relying on direct authority.
You will demonstrate:
