Job summary

Maersk Contract Logistics is seeking a People Advisor to lead high-volume frontline recruitment and act as an HR generalist, partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver timely hires and support employee inquiries.

The role is based in Derrimut or Tullamarine, Melbourne, with responsibilities spanning sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding, while contributing to employee lifecycle processes and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years recruitment experience in Australian market.
• Interest to progress toward generalist HR role.
• Experience in logistics or warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to translate workforce plans into hiring strategies.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume frontline roles.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, agencies, walk-ins, and outreach.
• Conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, and manage offers.
• Onboard progress tracking and governance to minimize no-shows.
• Provide HR analytics and support employee lifecycle inquiries.
