The Royal Children’s Hospital Infectious Diseases Department is seeking a senior Paediatric Infectious Diseases Physician to lead and contribute to clinical care, antimicrobial stewardship, education, and research across the Melbourne Children’s Campus.

You will supervise Fellows and junior staff, participate in ward rounds, develop guidelines, and drive quality improvement while maintaining a patient-centred approach and engaging with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated expertise in the clinical management of complex paediatric infectious diseases, including care of immunocompromised patients.

Aufgaben

• Act as the primary point of contact for Infectious Diseases consultations during on-call periods, providing expert, timely advice for all hospital departments.

Ausbildung

FRACP or equivalent

Specialist training in Infectious Diseases with recognition by RACP/APRHA as a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Physician

Registered medical practitioner with AHPRA

Higher research degree (Masters, MPH, PhD) or progress toward one

Experience developing clinical guidelines, quality initiatives, or service improvement innovation

Clinical trial research experience
