Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Anaesthetics/Recovery role at Westmead, with contracts until 30 August 2027. The base salary range is 81,748.17 to 114,771.98 per year, plus superannuation and leave loading, for a 38-hour week.

As part of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, you will provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families, and model NSW Health CORE values.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Current Acute Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Capacity to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families within the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.
