Job summary

St Peter’s School Clayton is seeking a dedicated and passionate PE teacher to work 0.4FTE (Thursday and Friday preferred) in our wonderful community.

The successful applicant will commence Term 1 2027. This is a fixed term position, concluding 26 January 2028. We seek someone who values safety, relationships, and high-quality teaching within a Catholic education context.

Qualifications

• VIT registration is essential.
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school would be an advantage.
• Commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
• Knowledge of an explicit instructional approach.
• Support of a diverse school community.
• Comply with Child Safety policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education to students as a 0.4 FTE role (Thursday and Friday preferred).
• Contribute to a positive professional learning culture within the school.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver engaging and inclusive PE instruction.
