Job summary

Scone Grammar School is seeking a PDHPE Teacher to join the team in Scone, NSW, commencing January 2027. The role involves delivering PDHPE through to Stage 6, promoting student wellbeing, and contributing to school life within a NSW Anglican context.

Experience with CrossFit, Stage 5 PASS, Stage 6 CAFS or Health and Movement Science would be advantageous. Applicants must meet NSW requirements and hold current teaching credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or teaching qualification.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Knowledge of Australian curriculum and NESA requirements.
• Understanding of NSW syllabus documents and ability to respond to student learning needs.
• Children safety screening as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality PDHPE lessons.
• Support student wellbeing and pastoral care.
• Perform administrative duties as part of the role.
• Contribute to life of the school and community engagement.
