Job summary

Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation – Scone NSW invites applications for a Teacher at Scone Grammar School. The role involves preparing, coordinating and delivering high-quality education in alignment with the School’s Christian guiding principles.

The successful candidate will contribute to learning, administration and life of the School, while upholding child protection, NSW curriculum standards and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant teaching qualification.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Knowledge of Australian curriculum and NSW syllabus documents.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NSW syllabus documents and ability to respond to student learning needs.
• Applicants will be screened for appropriate child protection purposes as we are a Child Safe School.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and delivering high-quality education as part of the Scone Grammar School team.
• Coordinate and deliver lessons in line with the School’s educational philosophy.
• Support administration and contribute to life of the school.
