Job summary

Mount Annan Christian College invites applications for an experienced or graduate PDHPE teacher to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will commit to the Christian faith, participate in church life, and support the faith formation of students at MACC.

The role requires teaching PDHPE to Stage 4–6, contributing to curriculum development, and working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to uphold academic excellence and the College's mission.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications.

We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or a new graduate within our PDHPE team. We are seeking to appoint an innovative, energetic and collaborative professional to teach Stage 4 - 6 PDHPE. The ideal applicant will have a strong Christian faith, professional values and a dynamic and proactive approach to teaching.

More specifically, the successful candidate will bring:

• a personal commitment to the Christian faith and active participation in a local church community
• a commitment to the vision and mission of MACC, with a willingness to support the faith formation of students
• relevant experience (or a willingness to learn) and a passion to teach PDHPE in stages in 4 to 6
• a commitment to academic excellence
• demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff, students and parents
• an ability to work collaboratively within a team to lead in the further development of the Faculty
• a comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and assessment
• relevant tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications
• proof of NESA accreditation and a current WWCC approval number is required.
