Zusammenfassung

BDO in Australia is seeking a Manager – PCAOB Audit Quality to develop and operate audit quality activities for PCAOB engagements. You will translate PCAOB requirements into practical guidance, support inspection readiness, and contribute to learning and capability-building initiatives to deliver consistent, high-quality engagement outcomes.

You will work closely with PCAOB teams, partners and AAQ colleagues, translating complex standards into actionable resources and supporting engagement teams

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years+ related experience in external audit or audit quality.
• Strong knowledge of PCAOB auditing standards and audit methodology.
• CA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience supervising, coaching or mentoring staff.
• Experience with ASX-listed, SEC registrant or other complex engagements preferred.
• Experience with audit tool software and platforms.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain PCAOB audit methodology, policies, guidance, templates and tools.
• Monitor PCAOB standards changes and assess implications for engagement teams.
• Prepare technical guidance and implementation materials for PCAOB engagements.
• Provide technical consultations on PCAOB engagements and documentation.
• Identify improvements to methodology, guidance, tools and learning based on inspection insights.
• Ensure consistency in applying PCAOB requirements across engagements and offices.
• Review selected engagement documentation to support PCAOB compliance monitoring.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities to improve PCAOB engagement quality.
• Support PCAOB inspection and remediation activities.
• Design and deliver PCAOB-focused learning, workshops and guidance materials.
• Support engagement teams in building technical capability and professional judgement.
• Maintain practical resources to apply PCAOB requirements.
• Contribute to communities of practice and knowledge-sharing.
