Job summary

McArthur Aged Care is seeking passionate Personal Care Assistants to support elderly clients to live independently at home across the North Shore region. The role involves delivering essential in-home services, serving as a vital link between home and community, and improving client wellbeing.

Weekly pay and flexible rosters are offered. Eligible candidates hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, with First Aid/CPR, a NSW driver’s license, and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have NSW driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (Employee Card) or willingness to obtain one.
• One of the following qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Home & Community Care; or Certificate IV in Disability or Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (or completion of first-year studies).
• Excellent communication skills with strong spoken and written English.
• Other languages are highly regarded.

McArthur Aged Care has partnered with a highly regarded Not-for-Profit Aged Care Provider to find passionate and qualified aged care professionals. Together, we support elderly and frail clients who wish to remain living independently in their own homes.

We currently have multiple opportunities for Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) across the Ryde and Hornsby areas (Ryde, Hornsby, Waitara, Asquith, Berorwa & surrounding areas)

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working with a leading Not-for-Profit aged care provider.

About the Role

• Must be available for a minimum of 3 days - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - or a full week of work
• Deliver essential services to elderly clients in your local community
