Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a payroll implementation and transformation program in Brisbane. The initial six‑month contract involves close collaboration with Payroll, HR, Technology and partners to deliver a new payroll solution.

The role requires strong management of payroll, HRIS or HCM implementations, vendor coordination and delivery across data migration, testing and cutover to BAU, with knowledge of ADP/SAP/Oracle HCM being highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering payroll, HRIS or HCM implementations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and related intricacies.
• Experience coordinating technology, business, vendor and stakeholder workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll implementation, managing scope, budget and timelines.
• Develop project plan, governance, RAID register and delivery reporting.
• Coordinate across Payroll, HR, Finance, Technology, vendors and partners.
• Oversee data migration, testing, cutover and go-live activities.
• Provide regular reporting to sponsors, steering committees and senior stakeholders.
