Randstad is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for an on-site role in Nerang, Queensland. This full-time temporary assignment runs through June 2027, with weekly payroll processing for employees and labour hire contractors.

You will interpret awards, manage timekeeping, ensure statutory compliance, and support the wider finance team while delivering accurate, timely payroll and training to staff.

Qualifications

• No qualifications required.
• Experience in high-volume payroll environments with timekeeping and contractor payroll is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process weekly payroll for employees and contractors across multiple awards and agreements.
• Review timesheets and ensure timely submissions.
• Interpret and apply awards, allowances, overtime, and leave entitlements.
• Process leave, schedule changes, and substitutions.
• Conduct payroll reconciliations, expenses accruals, reporting, and compliance reviews.
• Escalate and resolve complex payroll issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate payroll records for audit readiness.
• Provide payroll guidance and training to staff and management.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and daily project expense accruals.
