Description

Summary:

The Payroll Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our disability support organisation in Geelong. This part-time position is essential for maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and providing support to our staff regarding payroll-related queries. The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll system, ensuring that all employees are compensated correctly and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure all data is up to date and secure.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing or a related field.
