Job summary

Richard Lloyd Accounting Recruitment is seeking a Payroll Manager in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The role manages end-to-end payroll for 800+ staff from a Sydney CBD office with 2 days of work-from-home, offering a salary of around $140K plus super.

You will supervise two payroll officers and drive payroll accuracy and compliance. The successful candidate will bring strong end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in a professional services environment, and hold full Australian working rights.

• Partner with Accounting on payroll-related month-end activities, reconciliations and reporting
• Identify and implement payroll efficiencies and process improvements

The Role

As the Payroll Manager, you will manage 2 payroll officers. Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for 800+ employees

Provide coaching, mentoring and support to Payroll Officers

Oversee termination payments, salary adjustments and employee deductions and more

Ensure compliance with PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, awards and employment legislation

Partner with the Accounting team on payroll-related month-end activities, reconciliations and reporting

Identify and implement payroll efficiencies and process improvements

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

End to end payroll experience for over 500+ staff

Experience working in a professional services environment (or similar)
