Job summary

Camden Search partners with a Victorian Government statutory authority to recruit an experienced payroll leader. You will own end-to-end payroll operations, governance, compliance and system administration while building a capable payroll team.

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll interpret the Enterprise Agreement, ensure statutory compliance and drive data analytics and system upgrades in a growing public sector organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll, including governance, compliance, taxation, superannuation and audit.
• Proven experience interpreting and administering Enterprise Agreements.
• Strong payroll systems, reporting and data analytics experience.
• A track record of leading process improvement or system transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving and team leadership skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Payroll, Accounting, Finance or Business (desirable).

Camden Search is partnering with a well-established Victorian Government statutory authority to recruit an experienced payroll professional to lead the delivery, governance and continuous improvement of their payroll function. This is a hands-on leadership role for a payroll professional who wants to build scalable processes and drive genuine improvement within a growing public sector organisation.

About the role

Reporting to the CFO, you'll be the organisation's payroll subject matter expert — owning end-to-end payroll operations, enterprise agreement interpretation, statutory compliance and payroll systems administration, while leading and developing a small payroll team.
