Job summary

Abbot Point Operations is seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to manage end-to-end payroll processing and regulatory reporting for its team at the Port of Abbot Point, near Bowen, QLD. You will collaborate with the Finance Manager and stakeholders to drive payroll improvements and ensure compliance with STP, WEGA, and ABS requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a payroll role.
• Proven experience leading projects.
• Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for APO employees.
• Maintain payroll records and oversee payroll transactions.
• Coordinate STP, WEGA wage data reporting, and ABS surveys.
• Provide payroll-related financial information to support accounting.
• Lead payroll improvement projects with key stakeholders.
• Deliver high-level payroll support to employees and leaders.
