Job summary

Veritas Recruitment presents a hands-on Accounts & Payroll Administrator role with a well-established freight forwarding company in Melbourne. You will own end-to-end fortnightly payroll using ADP, manage accounts payable and support broad HR administration duties in a busy, collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have prior payroll and AP experience, proficiency with ADP and Excel, and solid knowledge of Australian employment law and payroll compliance.

Qualifications

• Payroll and accounts payable experience is essential.
• HR administration experience is desirable.
• Freight forwarding industry experience preferred.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment law and payroll regulations.
• Proficiency with ADP and Excel; Cargowise experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll using ADP.
• Reconcile PAYG, payroll tax and WorkCover obligations.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax, superannuation and employment legislation.
• Resolve payroll queries and liaise with ADP and finance teams.
