Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Accountant with strong payroll experience to support payroll operations in Perth, WA. This 12-month contract role focuses on ensuring compliance with Australian payroll, taxation, and superannuation requirements.

You will handle local and expatriate payroll matters, perform calculations, and assist with audits and regulatory updates. The role requires excellent Excel skills and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a payroll-related role.
• Sound understanding of Australian payroll regulations and requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyse, and resolve payroll, tax, and superannuation matters for local and expatriate employees.
• Perform payroll calculations and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Recommend and support the implementation of changes relating to taxation, payroll legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the integrity of payroll systems and data in line with legislation, company policies, and mandatory reporting requirements.
• Contribute to payroll-related projects as required.
• Act as a key contact for the coordination of payroll audits.
